A card to deal with change
I drew a tarot card today to ask how best to deal with change - and the Three of Pentacles popped up. This always makes me think of collaboration, co-operation and teamwork. Very fitting given what’s been going on here recently and how I’ve been trying (and failing) to deal with it.
This weekend brought things into crystal-clear focus. A bit of a crisis regarding my eldest son’s student housing cropped up. Missed emails and tight timescales conspired against him, meaning that he lost a place at Uni halls and was faced with having to battle with loads of other students to scramble and find alternative accommodation.
After much anxiety and Google searching we found an acceptable alternative - cue huge sighs of relief all round. But I was left with the realisation that in large part, my anxiety around this issue stemmed from the fact that our cosy, super-tight, super family structure is about to undergo a period of profound change.
