You know me, I love a challenge especially when it comes to books.

As I said in my last post, tracking my knitting leaves me cold. Tracking my reading however is a whole different ball game and I love setting myself little challenges and ticking off my progress.

Strange, I grant you but I’ve long since given up trying to figure out why my brain works the way it does.

So, without any further ado may I interest you in my latest 2026 challenge - the A-Z reading challenge for paid members of my Everyday Knitter community here.

The challenge lasts all year so you have plenty of time and the goal is simple. To read at least one book starting with every letter of the alphabet in 2026.

As with our previous reading challenges like the one we did last summer it is hosted over on Storygraph or you can just join in the old school way with a page in your journal and keep track that way.

We will also be chatting about our reads over in the dedicated chat thread.

What do you think? Fancy ticking a few books off your TBR list for 2026? If you tap on the challenge you’ll be able to see other books that people have added - in case you are in need of some inspiration for those trickier letters.
