It’s true - people really don’t notice as much as you think.
For a long time now I have enjoyed writing and journaling in local coffee shops. Sometimes with earbuds in, head down, words flowing. Other times I’m daydreaming, people watching and enjoying the buzz.
For ages though I was reluctant to take my knitting along with me. I do now of course and will happily pop my WIP on the table alongside my coffee and laptop, ready to pick up and do a few rows when I need a break. But back in the day, I worried what people would think. Would they stop and stare? Would they think I’m weird?
But one day I decided to just go for it and see what happened, and of course nothing did. The reason being that I don’t think anyone noticed.
