To save the strain on your inbox I'm combining my regular Monday thoughts email with an announcement about the upcoming Everyday Knitter book club read for May.
For paid members of my community here I send out a regular Monday email and we also have a monthly book club, although we had a hiatus in April for various reasons.
This month we are back with a vengeance and fully charged Kindles, all set to read the newest book from Richard Osman - The Last Devil to Die.
There have been previous books in the Thursday Night Murder Club (indeed there are exciting plans afoot to turn it into a film starring Helen Mirren amongst others) but you don't need to have read the preceding ones before this.
If you haven't read any of Richard Osman's books before he's a fantastically engaging writer and develops a wonderful, twisty turny plot.
We start on Monday 6 May which gives you time to source a copy, and if you are waiting for the paperback it's out on 9 May, so not too long to wait.
If you’d like to join us on our monthly readalong do have a think about joining our Everyday Knitter community here - you’d be very welcome.
You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

It’s funny but sad, looking forward to hearing what everyone makes of it.
How exciting! I’ve never read it so maybe I will join along
