If it were that easy we would be doing it already, wouldn’t we.
The truth is that those little devices in our pocket, to a large extent also run our lives. We keep our doctors appointments there, our connection to older relatives, our yoga app, our banking, our travel passes - you get the idea.
The problem though is that it is all too easy to pick up your phone to message your mum, and then 30 minutes later find yourself scrolling cat videos with a cold cup of coffee beside you.
Recently I have been pondering the amount of time I seem to spend in a ‘black hole of scrolling’ and coming up with some solutions for addressing what seems to be, for me a perennial problem. The graphic above was my fun little attempt to create something to stick in the front of my journal as a reminder.
I have included a blank one for paid subscribers if they would like to download one and add in their own activities.
