Louise something rather shocking has happened to me. I realized that I have enough yarn, books and patterns. I have been digging around various containers of yarn looking for something and I can’t find it. As I go through my bags, plastic containers, totes whatever, I find more projects on needles put away for reasons long forgotten. I have one wrap I am working on and I would like to do another, but with the missing yarn I can’t find. This Saturday is support your local yarn stores and while I would love to go I ask myself why. It’s not like I can’t pivot to another shawl project, I can. I am just stunned that a little or not so little voice is saying to me, use what you have, it is time.

The tariffs on yarn do have me spooked, but seriously…

I’m having the same epiphany. I’ve got yarn all over the place! I’m doing a design-along series about creating my first pattern from scratch (been changing other peoples patterns for awhile) and forcing myself to use all my scrap yarn while I figure out all the bumps and bruises. Then I’ll buy something soft and amazing to make the custom artwork blanket for myself.

What a great idea for a post holiday concierge! I always try to book an extra day’s leave for all the holiday laundry & getting the food shop organised, but it feels like a wasted leave day 🤨.

I’m going to the yarn festival is the UWE and am so looking forward to it! I’m taking my mum as a treat and we’ve both been wondering if we should take a trolley for all our purchases ☺️!

Oh, fantastic. I am just looking at my diary to see if I can go to UWE - would really love to even if it is just as a day trip.
