Oh, thank you for sharing. Did you end up making the cake?

I did. I didn't quite have the right size tin so it ended up a bit underbaked in the middle but it was delicious.

I alternate between digital and paper planners. I can never seem to settle on just one medium. I love my Notion planners but if after a few days I haven’t updated it I lose momentum. Same with paper ones. I tried bullet journaling a couple of years ago. Loved the concept and the creative in me enjoyed designing the pages but same again I didn’t keep up the momentum’s. Perhaps it’s just nice to have variety.

I’m exactly the same, I get a little bored and stale if I use the same system for too long.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Maybe varying is the way to go.

Yes to basic bujos! I gave up and tried to move online over the past couple of years but earlier this year found myself drawn back to pen and paper and a far more simplified approach.

I seem to rotate every few months. I go all digital with my Notion planner and then struggle to keep it all updated, until it starts to feel like a job all by itself.

Then I go back to pen and paper and it all starts to flow more naturally again.

that's how I was feeling too ... i've ended up keeping my notion for the bigger/long-term planning and my bujo keeps me grounded in the here and now. It feels like a good complement now.
