Changes to my newsletter

Everyday Knitter is changing things around a little

This weeks newsletter is a little bit different - namely because there are some changes afoot at Everyday Knitter and I wanted you to be the first to hear about them.

As you might be aware the Friday newsletter, which started off as a quick ‘what’s making me smile’ list each Friday has grown and developed since I started writing here on Substack.

Over time it has gradually evolved into it’s own ‘thing’ as these projects can sometimes do and I have really enjoyed having the creative space to be able to write about more than just strictly ‘what’s on my needles’. Although obviously, that’s important too 😂

But I am aware that this might not be to everyone’s taste and that while some people really value and look forward to this kind of content others just want more of a knitting update from me every now and again. We all have full email inboxes after all.

With that in mind I have decided to make the regular Friday newsletter part of the paid-for membership here. As a paid member of the Everyday Knitter community here you will also have access to my full archive, all of my posts, the monthly book club and other events as well as KALs and exclusive discounts on new patterns (plus the odd free pattern thrown in as well). If a paid-for subscription isn’t for you, that’s totally fine. I won’t be disappearing.

You will still get a monthly email from me with all my news, plus I’ll be sure to let you know when I have new designs released or any sales/promos running.

In the spirit of total transparency this is something of an experiment - a bit like life really I guess 😂

I am just trying to strike a balance between those who want to hear more of my ‘behind the scenes’ stuff and my writing that is (usually) knitting adjacent, vs those who just want to keep up to date with pattern news.
