I am deep in crochet at the moment, but I am very much thinking my next creative exploration will be knitting. I always going managing two needles more of a challenge than a single hook and I could never get the hang of flicking the yarn over the needle without taking my entire hand off 🙈 but I was only a child so perhaps that’s ok!! Mum had a great pattern for gloves, and I think I would like to try that again, and I have a hankering after some hand knitted socks - to wear inside my wellies and also keep my feet warm at home in the autumn (although it’s not so warm in June even and I feel I could use them now!!) love your stripy socks yarn!

My simple knitting fixes: A top down vanilla or near-vanilla sock (can be an easily memorized repeat, like the Blueberry Waffle pattern or something like that), my mitered square blanket, or my Bits 'n Bobs Blanket (pattern by Kay Jones).
How do you read and knit at the same time? I can crochet and Netflix, because I can listen instead of watch, but I need my eyes on the yarn, I couldn't read at the same time! I like an audiobook while I do crochet listening to the new Michelle Obama at the moment!
The shawl makes me long for autumn already!

I can read but only on my Kindle. I can't manage to get paper books to stay flat 🤣
You might wanna look into book weights, they are little devices used to keep books open! Used by scholars who have to copy info from books :)
