I’ve knit a few in my time, and I love it. Being hugged by a hand knit blanket is one of my favorite rainy day things.

Thank you for these lovely blanket recommendations. I’ve wanted to make a blanket but have found it a bit intimidating. Perhaps I need to just take the leap and not put any pressure on completing the project in a certain time frame

I love crocheting blankets and then seeing my kids wrapped up in them makes me so happy too. I've got a huge blanket I'm crocheting, a year on it's still unfinished though!

I love blankets. My partner rolls his eyes when I start a new one but you can never have too many. My favourite is your Boundaries blanket that I started just before I got my breast cancer diagnosis. I've always been a worrier and just knitting those squares kept reminding me to keep my thoughts bound to the here and now, not to wander off to the future. First the operation, the radiotherapy, and then the annual mammograms. In addition to the 12 patterned squares I knit 13 plain stocking stitch squares so I have a large 5x5 square blanket that is so lovely to snuggle under in the winter.

I have only made crocheted blankets. Knitted blanket seems like a cozy idea though. Thanks for all the recommendations.

I crochet. But live your patterns are any of them easy to crochet?
