Love that quote Louise, always reminds me to focus on the present. I find it a bit difficult to get to know cats, but they seem to like me……..💫🙏

"why do we knit things if they aren’t to be used?" EXACTLY! That's the whole point, really. So special that your sweet cat sits with you while you knit. And so sorry about having covid again! Hope you're all on the mend quickly!!

Love that quote Louise! I’ve had horrible anxiety the past several weeks and sometimes trying to quiet my mind, is an exercise in and of itself ✨

Yes yes YES!

This pic almost made me take UP knitting as Rainbow MagnifiCat would be so adorable in such a basket.

Then I remember that even journalling is a challenge as she's at the ribbon bookmark the whole time even as a nearly 10 year old.

Hope y'all recover fully and well.

Your post struck a chord with me as I have a habit of putting some of my knitting tops/cardigans/jackets in a drawer ‘for the right occasion’. Shawls, scarves, blankets, gloves, socks etc all get used immediately. I wonder why I do that!?!? Today, as its a bit cooler, I am going to get a jacket knitted during lockdown out and wear it for the first time. I wish your hubby swift recovered and hope the rest of the family can stay Covid free.

It's true that we knit/crochet things to be used and loved but the first times I gifted blankets I admit I struggled when I saw them being dragged along the floor by one child or another. But then I just realised it was because they loved it so much and wanted it with them and that was all I had hoped for.
