My annual performance on this has been variable - some years I’m out in the first few days but this year, remarkably I’m still going strong.
Mainly I think it’s because I’ve been a bit of a hermit. Coughs and colds have largely kept me at home and I have been avoiding the bigger supermarkets like the plague.
Also, my local Costa seems to be staging something of a rebellion and refusing to play it’s corporate Christmas soundtrack - to the universal gratitude of it’s clientele.
Let’s hope that feedback makes it’s way back up to HQ.

To be fair I think that headphones are probably a good idea all year round 😂
I love this game but I feel like some people have taken it a bit far, berating DJ’s for playing ‘that song’ and getting really uppity about being out. It’s part of the fun isn’t it? I had roofers in with their radio blaring and thought I’d be definitely out but no! Went up to London and fortunately got a knockoff version so still not out! Hurrah. But I wish people would just play for the simple joy and silliness of it! Enjoy and may the best woman win!!
